My Uncle John
John L. Baillargeon, 72, died Friday, April 26, 2013, at his home in Jackman, Maine.
My Uncle John was born in Holeb on Nov. 7, 1940, one of seven children to Albert and Rose Aimee Baillargeon.
He was a self-made man that not only dreamed of things, he built his dreams. Starting with a hunting camp in Holeb to woodsman, a registered Maine Guide and log truck owner-operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and in 1974 moved from Holeb to start building his dream, which is now referred to as John's Four Season Accommodations. He enjoyed being with all the people, everyone was family and always welcome. His favorite slogan was, "We have it all," and he sure did.

He had many special friends and will be sadly missed.

John was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Albert and Lawrence Baillargeon; and sisters Claire Healey and Jean Ulshafer. He is survived by his brother, Donald Baillargeon, and his wife, Shirley, of Dover-Foxcroft; and his sister, Rose Outley, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Jackman with the Rev. Kevin Martin officiating. Immediately following will be a gathering of family and friends at John's Four Season Accommodations at John's favorite rock to celebrate his life. I'm going to miss you so much Uncle John. Love, Delores

Cremation and service arrangements are provided by Giberson Funeral Home, 18 River St., Bingham. To send a message of condolence to the family, please visit www.gibersonfuneralhome.com.
