Message from NA Town Councilor Dan Donovan
"I had the opportunity today to tour the 451 Elm Street property with Town Manager Michael Borg and Assistant Town Manager Antonio Morabito. This property will eventually house a regional food distribution center as well as being the new home of the North Attleborough Senior Center. There are a lot of other exciting opportunities being discussed. And the cherry on top is that ScribbleTime is staying as a tenant and will continue to provide outstanding child care. There is some work to be done before the building can be open, but all the work as well as the purchase of the property was accomplished with federal Covid relief dollars not local property taxes. This is a huge win for the Town of North Attleboro and will become a showpiece when it opens. Stay tuned for more announcements as the project proceeds." |
